RelayStar is a management shipping company, which started by utilising Texaco gas-stations as a collection point allowing carriers
to deliver shipped packages to their clients. The RelayStar business is based on a patented IT technology developed by myself and

Texaco sold RelayStar to Cat-Logistics: a branch of
Caterpillar, in April 2005.
My responsibilities at RelayStar are:
a) R&D for future software development: I’m in
charge of selecting the correct 3rd party software, testing it and define the standard way to use it for future development.
b) Team
leader for the ongoing project developments: In this position I’m in charge of the follow up for the ongoing developments done by
our offshore development team located in
c) System architect of the RelayStar software: My responsibility is
to define the architecture to be built for the RealyStar application server, the client applications and the interconnections between
them.
d) Quality control: I’m in charge to review the code created by the development team and define work standards.
I also define the java projects, packages, classes and methods to be implemented in a way that they are reusable and independent.
A 6Sigma project, in which I’m a Green Belt member, was created to improve the development quality.
